Have you ever fallen so hard that you never thought you'd be able to get up again? Have you endured such loss that it would seem like forever until you could breathe again?

I have known loss. I have known pain. I have been up close and personal with betrayal.  My life has had many unwelcome circumstances. But... and there is always a "but," I knew at the very core, my life would see better days and that the wounds would eventually heal.  I always felt encouraged by a deep and loving voice (call it God, call it intuition) that I would survive.  And that I did!

What I want you to know is that while things in your life may not be what you desire at the moment, you can and will be able to get to the other side.  And when you do, you will find joy and gratitude for the journey.

That's all difficult moments are...part of your story; your testimony.  You see, we all have the ability to dig deep and be resilient.  Even though you will get weary and want to do anything to ease your pain, sit with...

It happens every year. The crisp cool air swirls in and replaces the warmth of our summer days. Gone are the lazy days, the gatherings of folk around the pool. We usher in a new season-another beginning.

Leaves change colors and ultimately fall to the earth readying the trees for a blanket of snow. It is at this time that we also shift and begin settling in and calming our souls.

We miss the sun kissing our skin and the gentle breeze passing by and yet, in this moment, we pause and reflect.

We turn our clocks backward and we gain an hour of precious time in our days. It makes us appreciate every second of our beautiful lives.

At times in our lives we have had to let go of comforts, say goodbye to love or something meaningful to us. We have had to bundle up a bit more to face the changes taking place. Some of them are painful and others are sheer magic.

Remember to fall with the grace of the seasons in your life. Do it with grit but don’t forget to be gentle with yourself, to carry the...

There have been times in my life when I felt so small and insignificant. There have been times when all I could do was watch from the sidelines of life as others stepped into their greatness and left me in the dust.

When we live a small life-one full of fear, silence, shame, sadness, abuse, or any time we give away our power, we settle where we are. But please know that even in the small, tiny bubble in which you may find yourself, there is always the spirit within. You must listen to that voice that whispers life into you and then you must take small, steady steps toward yourself again. There you will find power, strength, love, and favor. Be fierce. Bring the fire. Be mighty in all that you do!-Lisa Perry

The sun is breaking through the morning and like the sun, we all must find a way to break through-to a place of healing, happiness and success. Sometimes the clouds get in the way but if we are patient and persistent, we will begin to find the joy and the warmth of being whole and healthy.

Today, if there are more clouds in your way, keep moving forward and trust the the winds can change at any time and you will bask in the beauty of blue skies.

If you are feeling the warmth of the sun in your life, celebrate it. Know that while it’s not always permanent, your life will find a way to break through.

Hold steadfast. Seek the good all around even if you have to do a little digging for it. You alone can change your life. Your path and your purpose can and will be revealed.

Be grateful, be humble, be purposeful and let the sun hit your face and your life so much that you need to put your shades on!
