Breathe Your Own Air

Have you ever felt so low and out of sorts that you can hardly breathe? Do you recall a time that you were so in your feelings that you couldn't think straight? I've been there. I've had a pity party for one so long that those around me worried so much that they put out an APB. Sometimes we need to have those moments, but there is a time when you need to pick yourself up and find your voice again. You deserve beauty and love, happiness and compassion. It's vital for our survival to renew ourselves and get busy doing the work that moves us forward.
We need to be more forgiving of ourselves and once the wounds have been licked, we must search for a place just our own to breathe our own air and soar to new heights.
Whatever disappointment or loss you may be dealing with, whether you are going through a divorce, lost someone dear to you, need to find a better job/career, are caring for someone in need, know that you are worthy of a place where peace blankets you and change is not so frightening anymore.
But you must get up, show up, look up and find a glimmer, the tiniest glimpse of hope and hold on to it until you can see to the other side.
