Put Yourself First

Recently I chose to move on. It was a very difficult decision to leave a place that provides security and some level of success for myself to a place that is a bit foreign and uncertain. But have you ever just known that you must take a step into the unknown in order for life to totally make sense? Well, that's what happened to me.

Even when on one hand I could have stayed and found myself being successful, adding value where I was, the tug toward this uncharted territory was pulling me. It had been what I was asking for on my journey board and in my prayers.

See that's the thing...your dreams, blessings and goals can show up when you least expect it. But the timing is always right. We just have to be open to saying yes.

It's hard to let others you leave behind down, but don't beat yourself up. If it's your decision to move forward-to take the next step toward the person you want to become, then don't look back with shame or regret. Look ahead with anticipation and joy.

Your next steps are yours to decide. Don't let guilt be part of the equation.
