Change can be scary and difficult. Especially when you know it's the best thing for you. I have experienced many changes over the past 8 years and each time I asked God for peace and patience. I looked forward to who I would be on the other side. Each change, each challenging step I had to take for myself, was paved with blessings, lessons, Angels and a many cleansing tears. It's important to remember that you will get to the other side. You must work to stay focused. Create a sanctuary where you can feel safe and secure. Pray. Practice gratitude and have faith that you are getting one step closer to a new way of seeing the world.
Don't let fear keep you from your rightful place in this world. When you are faced with obstscles or trying times, work to get the lesson and then move boldly toward the things that will shift you and shape you.
My 14 year old son spoke these words to me a few months ago when I took on a new career move: "it's okay to have fear. Feel the fear mom, and then do something powerful with it." I had to write it down because it was so profound. It was a gift from my child that will continue to strengthen and fuel me and I hope will fuel you too.
