No Regrets

Eight years ago I made the decision to leave. I gathered up all the courage I could to walk away from a situation that did not serve me or my children well. I thought more of myself, finally knew my worth and walked into uncharted territory. I started walking toward myself and into a life that while sometimes wasn't easy, brought me here. My children are healthy and know they are loved. I welcomed new opportunities and discarded the things that held me back. I still get weary at times, but then I look back with a grateful heart and feel the joy that rises up to greet me each day. I am living my life on purpose and with purpose.
